Beauty and the Beach
This is a wonderful day. We hope everyone will attend and bring friends and relatives. Look for the ads and news releases in your local papers for more information. This city-wide event always promises a good time for all. We have many fine artists and crafters who will be exhibiting a wide array of their work. Also there are plenty of children's activities, and don't forget the Book Sale next door at the Library . You can buy a bag of wonderful books for just pocket change.
Across Gulf Boulevard at the 18th Avenue Access, beach-goers can relax in their chairs, while enjoying the music, sunshine, food and drink until sunset.

Chalk Walk
In 2001 the Chalk Walk was added to the festivities of Beauty and the Beach. It was a tremendously exciting event and continues to be so. Artists decorate the street with 8'x8' chalk and pastel paintings. The "artists" may be children from local schools, professional artists, families, friends, or just anyone who would like to undertake the challenge of creating art in a 8' x 8' sqare in Bay Palm Boulevard. People throng the streets to watch art come alive before their eyes.The Chalk Walk is sponsored by local individuals and businesses.
